Agency's Director and Deputy Director Orest Sorokopud and Mykola Polinkevych took part in the Annual Reporting Conference of the Ukrainian Cluster Alliance (UCA) in Kyiv. The event united representatives of clusters from all over Ukraine, international partners, business, government organisations and experts.
Key points of the conference:
Defining cluster policy. The Ministry of Economy and the UCA are actively working on the development of national and regional cluster support strategies.
Best practices of Ukrainian clusters. From heat and power to healthcare, successful cases of service and ecosystem development and access to European markets were presented.
Internationalisation and investment attraction. Strategies for integrating Ukrainian clusters into European innovation ecosystems were discussed.
Frontline regions. Security was one of the main topics of discussion, as it is a fundamental factor in business development. We need not only to preserve companies but also to create conditions for their growth.
Donor funding in 2025. It is important to attract international support for the development of cluster initiatives and Ukraine's economic recovery.
The event has become a powerful platform for sharing experiences and establishing new partnerships. We are grateful to Alex Yurchak and the UCA team for organising the event, as well as to all participants for productive discussions!
